What is the relationship between Lotus Projects, Sebel and Accor?

Lotus Projects Pty Ltd has entered into a franchise agreement with AAPC Properties Pty Limited (AAPC) for the use of the “Sebel” brand amongst other things.

In the event of the franchise agreement coming to an end for any reason the name “Sebel” cannot be used in the operation of the hotel and AAPC and its parent company Accor SA retain all proprietary rights to the name “Sebel”.

AAPC’s role as franchisor (including the use of the Sebel brand) should not be regarded in any way as a recommendation by AAPC that this represents a good investment nor a recommendation by AAPC of the security or certainty of any investment return.

AAPC and the AccorHotels group make no representation and express no opinion as to the potential benefits or financial viability of an investment in the suites at the hotel and are not in any way associated with the lease of the suites and the return offered. Investors should rely on their own enquiries and obtain their own advice.

Operating under a Sebel franchise agreement The​ ​hotel​ ​will​ ​be operated​ ​under​ ​the​ ​Sebel​ ​brand​ ​through​ ​a​ ​franchise​ ​from​ ​AAPC​ ​Properties​ ​Pty​ ​Limited.​ ​​​If​ ​the hotel​ ​business​ ​owner​ ​ceases​ ​to​ ​have​ ​a​ ​franchise​ ​agreement​ ​with​ ​AAPC​ ​Properties​ ​Pty​ ​Limited​ ​or another​ ​AccorHotels​ ​company,​ ​the​ ​Sebel​ ​name​ ​cannot​ ​be​ ​used.
